rss

What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication – RSS – is used instead of an email newsletter; so you can keep up to date with the sites of interest to you.

What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?

Online Feed Readers

If you have an account with google or yahoo, you can use the feedreader provided with your account. Or use a service such as Bloglines

Even Easier – Get your Feed by Email!

An easier way to get your RSS is via your email address. By signing up with your email address you get the RSS delivered to your inbox. Note that this is not a newsletter but an automated feed straight from the site.

So don’t answer it! It’s just a robot.

How to recognise a site with RSS

You’ll see the icon which announces the site you’re viewing has an RSS webfeed. A lot of sites use customised RSS icons.
