The good thing about a place like this is the locals make time to notice the little things, especially when it’s related to important stuff like being able to wade in clean water, or launch your boat without running aground on a new sand bar.

At the beach, I found Clean Up Australia Day in full swing with Beachlea Boat Hire playing a lead role.  But there wasn’t much litter. Beautiful, wide, white beach, cute little jetty, clear blue water, and no litter or seaweed, this DESIGNER BEACH is made in …..Chelsea.  But apart from thousands of baby, glossy white bi-valves we found few shell species.

But we struck it lucky with lunch at the nearby CHELSEA KEBAB HOUSE, 438 Nepean Highway. These people are the real deal, providing the best and freshest falafel rolls this side of Turkey.
